Is Suno Down?

The fastest ways to check Suno availability:

1. Prismix: prismix.dev/service/suno — live status + 30-day uptime + incidents aggregated in one place.
2. Direct test on suno.com: Try generating a short clip at suno.com — if the generation bar stalls for more than 10 minutes, Suno is likely experiencing congestion or an incident.

If Prismix shows Suno as "Operational" but your songs are not generating:

• Song generation stuck / never completes — Suno has peak-hour congestion, especially during US evenings. The generation bar can stall for 5-10 minutes on the free tier. Try switching to a less complex style prompt or wait 15 minutes before retrying.
• "Insufficient credits" when you have credits — Credits can have a display lag after purchase. Hard-refresh the page and wait 5 minutes. If the balance still looks wrong, contact Suno support with your transaction ID.
• Cover art not generating — Cover image generation is a separate service from audio. It can fail independently, so the song audio may be fully playable even if the cover stays blank. This is not an audio outage.
• Mobile app not working or not loading — Suno's iOS and Android apps occasionally break on OS updates. Force-quit the app and relaunch. Check the App Store or Google Play for a pending update before filing a support ticket.
• Generated song sounds cut off or has audio artifacts — Free-tier clips are limited to approximately 2 minutes. Pro and Premier tiers generate longer tracks. Artifacts and audio glitches usually indicate the model was overloaded at generation time — retry with a fresh prompt after a few minutes.
• API (v3) returning 429 / quota errors — The Suno API has per-day generation limits. Check your usage at suno.com/account. Note that the API draws from the same credit pool as the web UI, so web generations count against your API quota.
