About
Prismix is the AI hub I wanted.
One control panel for everything AI — status, news, MCP. Independently run, no VC money, no vendor lock-in, no tracking.
The problem
If you build with AI, your stack is scattered. A status page for every provider, six tabs open across HN / Twitter / arXiv for news, and a thousand-result GitHub search every time someone asks "is there an MCP server for that?". The vendors have no incentive to consolidate — they want you on their status page, reading their blog. So nobody does it.
Prismix pulls it onto one page — yours, configurable, with the people whose stack you trust as the curation layer.
Three pillars, one site
- 📡 Status — live monitoring of 77+ AI providers. 30-day uptime, incident history, latency probes, email + Discord/Slack/webhook alerts. /status →
- 📰 News — 71+ curated sources, full-text mirroring, TikTok-style For You ranker, RSS per source + tag. /news →
- 🧩 MCP directory — 80+ curated + ~500 auto-discovered Model Context Protocol servers. Install commands, Claude Desktop configs, release timeline. /mcp →
What makes it different
- ✓Independent. Not funded by an AI provider. No incentive to overstate uptime or hide outages. We track upstream feeds exactly as published.
- ✓Anonymous-friendly. Every read surface — status, news, MCP details, RSS feeds, public API — works without an account. No sign-in wall, no email-gate.
- ✓No tracking. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, fingerprint-free, GDPR-quiet. We log nothing else.
- ✓Honest pricing. Free tier is forever — not a 14-day trial. Pro is $10/mo via Ko-fi, cancel anytime. We don't store cards.
- ✓Open infrastructure. Free public REST API + RSS feeds + embeddable badges + sitemap. Build on top of us.
Stack
Cloudflare Pages + Workers + KV at the edge. Astro 5 SSR with Preact islands. Tailwind v4. Self-rolled auth (no Clerk). Resend for transactional email. Ko-fi for memberships. Tests via Vitest with an in-memory KV mock — currently 1093 of them.
No database we host. No vendor lock-in beyond Cloudflare + Resend + Ko-fi, each replaceable in a day.
Who's behind this
Built by @Prismor — one developer, no team, no investors. The site evolves in public on the roadmap (vote on what's next) and changelog (everything shipped).
Reach out via /contact for anything — bug, feature, partnership, "your status page for X is wrong". Security disclosures: /security.
