Is Mistral Chat (Le Chat) Down?

If Prismix shows Mistral Chat as "Operational" but you're having issues:

• Le Chat web search returning 0 results — web search in Le Chat is region-dependent and may be partially rolled out. If search returns empty, toggle the web search switch off and on again, or try rephrasing with explicit temporal qualifiers like "latest" or "2026". Check status.mistral.ai for any active web search incidents.
• Document PDF upload failing over 10MB — Le Chat's document analysis feature accepts PDFs up to 10MB. Larger files silently fail or return a vague error. Compress the PDF using Ghostscript or Adobe Acrobat's Reduce File Size before uploading. Text-heavy PDFs compress well; image-heavy scanned PDFs may need splitting into chapters.
• Model selection reverting to default between conversations — Le Chat saves the model selection per session, not globally. The model preference is stored in a browser cookie and resets if you clear cookies or use a private window. Use the account settings page to set a persistent default model for your account.
• Conversation export returning an empty file — the export function in Le Chat may produce an empty JSON or Markdown file if the conversation history is still loading. Wait until all messages have fully rendered before initiating an export, and try the export again. Large conversations with many code blocks are especially prone to this bug.
• Pro subscription not reflected after payment — Le Chat Pro subscriptions are activated through Stripe. If payment succeeds but the Pro badge doesn't appear, the webhook between Stripe and Mistral's backend may have been delayed. Log out and back in after 5 minutes; if still not activated, contact Mistral support with your Stripe payment confirmation number.
• API key from Le Chat not working with platform.mistral.ai — Le Chat (chat.mistral.ai) and the Mistral AI Platform (platform.mistral.ai) are separate products with separate API keys. A key created in Le Chat's settings is for workspace use within Le Chat only. Create a new key in the Platform console for programmatic API access via api.mistral.ai.
