Is Microsoft-Phi dead?

Phi was one of my favorite models with a bit of a mixed reputation with some claiming it's benchmaxxed and others seeing its potential and usecases. I was a big fan of Phi but the last major release was in december 2024 with every other release being a Phi 4 iteration (like Phi 4-reasoning-vision which released in march of this year)

Do you think Phi 5 will ever release? Maybe it can be a small moe model. What do you think about Phi in general and which small models do you miss most?
