| Our new open-source AI model for Ancient Egyptian hieroglyph translation. Available in two versions:
Built on Qwen 3.5, Horus Hiero supports ~150 languages, understands text, images, and video, and is the first model of its kind to combine large-scale multimodal capabilities with dedicated hieroglyph translation. It also delivers strong general reasoning and coding performance:
With a 512K context window (expandable up to 1M tokens), it offers one of the largest context windows available in the Arab AI ecosystem. We hope Horus Hiero helps make Ancient Egyptian heritage more accessible, supports tourism, and encourages the study and understanding of hieroglyphs. The models are fully open source on Hugging Face with full support through the NeuralNode framework. [link] [comments] |
