Hey everyone!
We're a group of 4 researchers from IIIT Hyderabad attending ECCV 2026 in Malmö, Sweden, and we're planning to book a large Airbnb (sleeps 7–8) to keep costs low. We're looking for 3–4 more people to join us and split the stay.
Dates: September 7 – 13 or 14 (flexible on checkout — we found that longer stays often come at nearly the same price, so 1–2 extra days may be essentially free)
Location: Malmö, Sweden (close to or well-connected to the conference venue)
Vibe: Chill, respectful, working researchers — we're just trying to focus on the conference and not blow our accommodation budget
What we're thinking:
- Book a place that fits 7–8 people comfortably
- Split the total cost equally
- Coordinate on kitchen use, check-in/out logistics, etc.
If you're attending ECCV 2026 and haven't sorted accommodation yet, this is a good chance to save significantly compared to hotels or solo Airbnbs in the area during conference week.
Drop a comment or DM me with your name, affiliation, and dates you need — we'll coordinate once we have enough interest before locking in a booking.
