I’m taking a break

I’ve just formatted my MacBook Pro with an M2 Max and 32GB of RAM. I’m taking a break from local LLMs.

I’ve spent the last few months tinkering with local models, MTP, quants, harnesses, Gemma, Qwen… It’s time to take a break. I noticed this was becoming less of a hobby and more like an addiction.

I’m pretty sure there are more of you like me out there. Take a break too. Everything in excess is bad. There’s no reason to FOMO.
